EDUCATION AND REACH OUT

Tell me and I'll forget. Show me, and I may not remember. Involve me, and I'll understand.  One day the whole world will learn this way.....

Hathi was the first centre to teach inclusive non-euro centric performing arts. Today, we still lead the way. Through Leicester College, since 1993, we’ve extended our work to formally train some of those young people, and some who are not so young, in all aspects of the art of performance. A practical experience; often leading directly into the world of work in the creative sector. The courses – at NOCN, Progression Certificate level  3– are nationally recognised by UCAS. We have flexible course entry requirements. This approach works. Recent NOCN successes include 100% retention rates and achievement. In a recent intake, 98% passed with a full Certificate for Progression in the Arts at level 3 and OFSTED gave us a rating of 1 – Outstanding. So we know we produce outstanding results. We do it by inspiring people who have often been outstanding in their previous lives – but often for the wrong reasons.

Glittering graduates include ;
Parminder K Nagra ( ER, Bend It Like Beckham)
Rakhee Thakrar ( Silver Street, Doctors, Bad Girls)
Roshni Savjani ( Production Manager Lion King)
